Well i dont know how he talks to you - But all the years i have been in churh and conversations with my Step Father who is a pastor and all the time ive spent reading the bible all the conversations i have had with people of your beliefs - I have gotten answers -- If you have read my previous posts in this thread you will find out what the answers were -- So yes plenty of times have i sat down or thought why are we here - answer read the bilbe since god is supposed to have the answers so i do and as stated previously this is what i have got out of it --

Have you ever asked him why you were here? I suppose your here just to worship him? Is your whole existance just for him you praise his name and he will make you feel good and take away the pain? or if you do not he will let you rot? -- What is your purpose here? and why do yo exist? Are you happy with the answer for him? I just cannot make sence out of their being a living god that has controll over everthing that would want us for his selfish needs - And if there was we would definately know -- On this side god as being a rule of all the things that make life and their is no other this i can believe as a god that can be part of all the common demoniator in everything - but not a supernatural living god that majicially just created life for his own purpose.

He created us for relationship with Him and each other. Why we are here? the crux of it is Mark 16:14-20,and considering the way the world system is i would say He would want us to proclaim the Gospel to everybody before it IS to late...and the beauty of it is not because we have too its because we want too..

That reminds me of an article I once read titled "The Hunter's Apologia" and in it he said "... i resent being called a slob, simply because some of those that hunt, in fact, are. Remember the world is full of slobs and few of them happen to hunt."

Being as you're no dummy, I am sure you see the correlation.

Mother Teresa, Billy Graham, Jim Hicks or any multitude of people out there doing great good in the name of God might be more in line with who Copperman was thinking of.

Dont you think that is kinda wrong -- I mean for someone something to give us such a great gift with strings attached for his own pleasure.

I mean think about it if this is really true and the meaning-- none of us asked for this life -- it is great to be alive but you really think this is what you are here for? living the ups and downs sads and sorrows all with no answers just questions - And all we get is i am the almighty for it is i who created you for my pleasure.

Know i could see if i were to believe in something like this him maybee in a previous life telling us i will test u - if you pass you will spend eternity in heaven - But you will not know of this life only the life in which i will grant you. But for a god even he should see this is not fair.

If a friend were have saved your life before you were married 10 -20 -30 years ago you have since lived every day knowing you would not be alive if it were not for him you would not have the life you live now - would you give him the same treatment as you do to god if he asked for it? I doubt it and i bet the answer would be something like i did not ask you to save my life and it was gods decision that i lived and not yours.

So really how is this fair If we did not ask for it? I think it is a great experience as well but this gets me more than anything else and i cannot believe my worst enemy giving me such a great gift with conditions and not knowing before or having a choice.

That’s Bible M. The Bible was thought out in the counsel halls of Heaven before time(as we know it) was put into motion.

I know it dont agree with the way most people think.(human nature, carnal minded) At least if we are thinking in finite terms, but God is infinite, Omneiscient, Omnipotent. He knew exactly how man wood react to him before he even created him, yet he created him anyways. Strange how or why he wood do this..eh? Nothing about us in our physical state agrees with God, but it did in the beginning with Adam as he was perfect in every way, all that was required of him was to believe God when he told him not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but at the urging of Eve, he did, which is why we wood need a savior, but that is another story for another time.

And for me this is sort of why I worship and love my Father in Heaven, because, even tho he knew we wood not be what he wanted us to be, he fixed an out for us in Jesus.

.....and once you become a Born Again Child of God, at that point you are given a knowledge, and a richousness is imputed into your body and mind that helps you better able to understand God and his ways, and his purpose for man on this world. It does require quite a bit of studying and meditation tho, then you just get bits and pieces that help you better to understand.

Have you ever looked up the meaning of the word...see..and applied it to certain scriptures...baloon effect.

Matt 12 38. Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.
