1. It is not illegal to shoot a gun after drinking. It may be stupid, but its not illegal.

What is illegal is consuming alcohol while carrying a CONCEALED WEAPON IN PUBLIC. I'm Ohio I'm barred from entering most places that serves it. If he could fit a pistol in his daisy dukes, on his own property, he had every right to do so.

2. He obviously was not inebriated.

3. The beer was real, but there's no evidence he even took a swig of the whiskey.

4. Not only did he NOT FIRE THE GUN, but the clip was empty. I'm sure our navy vet has enough sense to not throw around a loaded weapon.

5. I'd feel a lot safer in the presence of our gun touting, underwear-ing, can popping navy vet, than being in the same town as alba.

Alba

It's a kickback to the customer for giving them the insurance business not a discount.

For the record, I like my boomsticks. I just don't like that this is painting a clear picture to the insurance companies that roofers have nothing to complain about with pricing.

I'm not fixated on illegals, it's only a minor problem in my area. I lose a lot of work to other contractors who use guys without insurance, licensing, or dump into ditches. I really have no problems with filling ditches either, but it's illegal.

I don't get too upset about these problems though, thankfully this area keeps us busy.

This afternoon I give a deposition as an expert witness for a roofer being sued by the property owner. I asked an attorney friend if it was ok to carry in there, or would the law office be considered an extension of the courthouse in a deposition?

He said: If you're not carrying, you may be the only person in the room who isn't.

Gotta love Texas!

He has a partner and their business is just one year old. Like many "Insurance Restoration Companies". It's so easy even a cave man can do it. Seems like the video worked for them to some extent.

Here's a better story about the video. The guy and his partner managed to get it on the 6 O'clock news in their local area.

They got the idea from a car dealership in Texas and they also managed to get themselves on the show "Fox and Friends". Nationally.

If that's the case, I'd think twice about being an expert witness against some wacky roofer. One day's pay isn't worth months of looking over your shoulder.

Sorry, should have mentioned I was testifying for the roofer. Deposit cancelled.

Noticing guy's bulge is not my thing. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Carrying makes no sense if you don't do it just about everywhere you go. You wouldn't buy life insurance that isn't in effect on Tuesdays, would you?

I guess debating about guns is a waste of time. the gun proliferation is wrong but it's here to stay .there is nothing that can be done about it.as for the guns protecting our freedom :"More Americans have died from guns in the United States since 1968 than on battlefields of all the wars in American history." I was watching the "swat team Miami".the police had to patrol in personnel armored cars neighborhoods that are on the US soil across the highway from the luxurious resorts which are the crown jewel of US tourism with the same precaution as patrolling in Iraq or Afghanistan.

It isn't necessarily the guns then. The police in Britain NEVER carried guns; just a night stick with their funny hats. I was visiting England in the early 70's and they were criticizing us for all of the violence and guns and shootings we had in the States. England was about 90% white back then and the Whites didn't shoot each other. They/We are all in the same boat now. There are many different races mixed in and THEY WILL NOT MIX!! It is all different cultures and values, and we have to protect ourselves. You don't carry a stick to a knife fight and you don't carry a knife to a gun fight.

Our/Their governments are encouraging the influx and they are doing it to undermine the races and cultures. ALL of the multicultural BS is genocide for all of the races. The larger enemy are/is the governments, and the everyday enemy on the streets are all of these other races and cultures. That is why we need the guns. The answer to the gun violence is not to ban guns, but to shrink the government, drain the swamp, and send all of the different races back to where they came from. The white race has a right to exist, and they will naturally defend themselves when their minds have not been turned to mush by the government fools system and the bias controlled media. Suicide is not a natural reaction to life!

Gun proliferation is an oxymoron! Less of the oxy part. If something is good - cash, gold, roof jobs - you can never have too much if it.

I'd like to see your source on gun deaths in the U.S. Regardless, it misses the point - a high percentage of them were bad guys who needed to die. Secondly, automobiles have killed more people than all the diseases and guns combined, but the good they do outweighs the bad.

It also misses the point of 2A. It was not simply drafted for citizens to protect their families. It was drafted by brilliant Founders who understood that an armed citizenry was necessary to prevent tyranny.
