Lake affect snow today.

Windy and snowy today here in West Michigan. I would imagine taht 40 miles to the East it is clear and sunny, but here it snows so hard you can't see and then stops. Nothing is sticking as the ground is too warm yet.

We didn't work and it snowed on and off all day. We are supposed to get 5 inches tonight and they are talking about 12 inches farther up North by the lake. It comes fast and furious when it starts, but you can go 25 miles to the East and have Nothing on>>>

It snowed last night here enough to cover the grass and the well insulated roofs. That kept us off the 13/12 pitch that we have in progress. Still snowing now moderately with heavy bursts every once in a while. We sent everyone home this morning. Hope>>>

We waited til 9:00 am to go in and it was still too slippery to get on the roof. I took the crew to breakfast and we had a safety meeting and job preview for the one we started today. By 10:30 it was dry enough to work and we got a lot done. We will se>>>

I had an ice covered roof this morning that really p-ed me off. Not surface ice, but a solid inch in spots. :(>>>
