The whitetail rut is in full swing in Ohio and I spent the afternoon, a cold, breezy, rainy one, hunting on the ground. About 45 minutes before dark, I had deer all around me, as I hunkered close to a tree hoping to see the big one. Two nice 8 points, t>>>

Sheesh Mike, we don't even have to go to the woods to find deer. They are all over the highway here. Saw a really nice buck (at least 8 points) on the side of the hig>>>

It's fun to watch how we can mow, weed, do all kinds of yard work, and they will continue their feeding when they are in the woods, but set just one foot inside the woodline, and any deer>>>

HOP, assuming they look just like, or even smaller than they deer on the panhandle coast, then I'll bet they are.
