Old School, I have gandered at the picture 5+ times. Just moments ago prior to reading the recents posts and my thoughts were exactly as you said. It has not been unnoticed but now an ornament and attraction of some sort. Possibly negligence in the beginning and now an attraction. I'd smile and appreciate and them go OMG what are they thinking. PC>>>

Thats the old bird trick, they pick up seeds and drop them off just like the bees We see plant growth all the time down here in Florida, as long as there is organic asphalt products you will see Plant life. B)>>>

I am sure that is how it got there, I just wonder how it is watered and what it grows on.>>>

OS, checked it out, amazing to say the least. My call is a weed bush not literally a tree. No deep root system, obviously, or the damage would be severe, probably running the gutter system, well established depending only on mother nature for nourishment.

I have a few of the those buggers in my yard.

Did you check out the grave in the middle of the road? Absolutely Great!!! Thanks, PC>>>

Ah, very funny! It is unique for sure. You never know what will become a tourist attraction! I stumbled upon it by accident!>>>

Old School the plant life feeds off of any organic product that is under the final layer of roofing, if they have a mopped 90# or a asphalt base sheet or etc.>>>

If you believe the information on the attractions site, this has been going on for a long time. How much 90# is under there to feed on?>>>
