Desperately seeking prayers
« Back To Roofers TalkFriday morning one of our foremen was in a very bad car crash on his way to work. Freeway closed, lifeflighted north, neck broken.
Surgery completed late and I got see him about 8 pm. Good spirits, all things considered, and doing well today, but walking again is still not guaranteed.
Just pray for J at Hicks... I'm sure God will know who you're talking about.
Thank you in advance. He's one of the good ones. Reminds me a lot of Egg in physique and personality. 51 yrs old and can work circles around most half his age. Been with almost 30 years.
That's terrible, sorry to hear that Mike.
I struggle to find the right words to say for a person in a tragedy like this. I can only take heart and believe the power of prayer isn't in the specific words of the prayer. I'm praying now for J. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
Very sorry to hear the bad news Mike, we will keep him in our prayers
Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
Lifting him up in prayer . . .
I will lift him up in prayer on a daily basis. May God heal his broken body.
It could easily be me and it could easily be any of us. We're all in this together. I am praying for his health, recovery and the strength of his spirit throughout.
A reminder that not even the most mundane of journeys can be taken for granted.
Amen
thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Back in 93 one of our drivers was speeding in a 2/3 loaded dump truck, he lost control of the truck the truck rolled and slid on the cab for almost 1500 ft
I pray that he can play the cards that he is dealt, cheerfully.
I think about how my guys would survive if something happens away from work. We just found an insurance agent who has access to a disability insurance for roofers. We will see in the next few months if it pans out.
Prayers coming your way! Sorry to hear of this misfortune. Things just happen so fast sometimes, it can take your breath away.
I'm praying and hopig for the best for him. Tell him to not give up either!
Appreciate all the comments.
All signs are looking good, but no promises made just yet. There is sensation and movement, which is a good sign. That's all we got for now.
I will pray for him but I am praying for his family too. Wife, kids? They may need GOD's comfort too. I am praying for you too Mike. More of a grateful prayer that he has a kind man like you in his life.
Mike how is your Foreman?
